Yes, I checked the low level messages and it said it couldn't find the object 
on OPT01.  Yet I can view it with WRKLNK.

did you check the second level messages in your job log?

This should work, unless you have data type mis-matches between the
streamfile and the physical.  I do it all the time.

I've pretty much given up on the pipe delimited stuff.  I emailed the
vendor and told him it wasn't working out and to send me a fixed file
format.
