Thanks to all who responded ,I have got useful
information from Info centre as well as from the posts
by Vern ,Robert & Mark ..
Thank you somuch  guys ...Kindly share your expertize
if you have more info... I wanted to know 
how/where the set up for external ftp to as400 is
done....
