So far for us it has not been a very good product. We've had trouble trying to get it to send faxes consistently. It often doesn't send the fax, but simply disconnects. Plus the performance has been awfully slow. But the integration with the rest of the system is neat. I know you don't want to involve another machine, but our testing leads us to believe that the best fax software out there is hylafax. It can fax PDFs without trouble. What it lacks that FAX/400 has is iSeries integration. That can be solved with a print queue that just converts your spooled files to PDF on the hylafax server.
