RE: 3180 device...

As I recall, we blew out a 3180 ourselves, many years ago. It started
eating fuses. Not good.

Simple solution: Buy a refurbished 3477 or 3487. They're cheap, they're
132-column, they're dual-session (3487s are dual display plus printer),
they're available in your choice of either color, green monochrome, or
amber monochrome, and they're available with your choice of 102-key or
122-key keyboards. Oh, yes, and the 348x-series has mouse support, and
optional column-separator suppression on the color model.
