Raul, I see the same thing (in interactive SQL, right?). It is interesting 
that back on the main SQL screen this is what is in the history:

CONNECT TO S10AAAAA USER VERN USING ''

so they suppress the password here.

If you were to enter this command, not using the prompt, you'd have to put 
it in the clear, as there is no way to non-display a portion of a field. 
But it'd be sensible to non-display the password in the prompt. I suggest a 
call to IBM, asking fo a design change.
