Mike, thanks for replying. Were the PO forms set up as domino forms? Are they connected to the Lawson database, or once approved, were they then loaded into lawson? if connected, what means did you use? I've not seen a domino form that could handle the data the way we want it handled. it will be an indeterminate number of rows, with 20 or so columns, The spreadsheet methods we use now work well for data entry, but they don't do much for data ownership and integrity with all of the different versions floating about. And the convolutions we have to go through to get data out of and back into the accounting software system are ridiculous. Are there 'database aware' grid widgets of some sort that can be plugged into a notes form? Thanks again, Rick ----original message------- I would go with some sort of web application. We do a similar process for POs. We did everything manually. Now we have the requestor who creates the PO and sends it to their manager, the manager approves or disapproves. Based on that decision, it is either sent on to the next approver or get sent back to the requestor. This is the 50,000 view of the system. We used (I think) mostly domino for this app. The best part is, is that it totally integrates with our Lawson system.
