I don't think this will be a problem.

previous authors of the newsletter used this list for ideas.

I can't count the number of times a large thread on the list would go back
and forth, talking about a specific problem/solution, and the next tips
newsletter would have boiled the whole thing down to clean questions,
answers and tested code.

I'm sure Scott won't be 'quoting' anything from the list - just using it
for ideas.  :)
