Perhaps instead of deleting the object you could just rename it, or move it to another library? -----Original Message----- From: John Burke [mailto:John_Burke@xxxxxxxxxxxxxx] Sent: Monday, November 17, 2003 2:09 PM To: midrange-l@xxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: CWBSY1008 About six months ago, Jan Rockstedt reported having a problem just like I am now. It was an upgrade to V5R2 and everything seemed to work except iSeries Navigator, which gave the CWBSYS1008 error. All the recommended (by iSeries Navigator Help) steps were taken then as I have now, but nothing worked. The original poster said a call to IBM produced the following solution: endhostsvr *all dltobj QUSRSYS/QYSMSVRE strhostsvr *all Of course, there is no such command as dltobj - but presumably the poster meant dltsmgobj. Anyway, the system I have is on loan and I do not have direct access to IBM support. Before I start deleting things and risk getting myself into trouble, can anyone confirm the above is a solution to this problem?
