All I can tell you that on our V5R2 machine, QUSRSYS/QYSMSVRE is an object
type *USRIDX. So the Delete comand would be DLTUSRIDX.

Thanks,

About six months ago, Jan Rockstedt reported having a problem just like I
am
now. It was an upgrade to V5R2 and everything seemed to work except iSeries
Navigator, which gave the CWBSYS1008 error. All the recommended (by iSeries
Navigator Help) steps were taken then as I have now, but nothing worked.
The
original poster said a call to IBM produced the following solution:

endhostsvr *all
dltobj QUSRSYS/QYSMSVRE
strhostsvr *all

Of course, there is no such command as dltobj - but presumably the poster
meant dltsmgobj.

Anyway, the system I have is on loan and I do not have direct access to IBM
support. Before I start deleting things and risk getting myself into
trouble, can anyone confirm the above is a solution to this problem?
