What software is it? We have Strategi from Advanced Business Link which uses the user number (that was set up in Strategi) as the outq name. (I don't know if it can be directed to a printer, though, since we don't use it much. I don't know your users, but I do know that the connection would be refused by my firewall. That tells me that the only way to be sure it will work is to use the java software, since that is the user's connection to your system. (The PDF and email idea is also good if you're not concerned about the security of your data.)
