<transferred from MI list, as I view this as a general question> "hs"... I was wondering how you do this and, at the same time, prevent the system from accidently getting cratered. Do you have students in separate LPAR, or implement object-level permissions (or just take yer chances...;-)...? (Given that, in all probability, I can't afford any of the 3rd-party products that help set-up object-level security). Any advice be appreciated. | -----Original Message----- | From: mi400-bounces@xxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:mi400-bounces@xxxxxxxxxxxx]On | Behalf Of hs@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx | Sent: Saturday, October 11, 2003 9:26 AM | To: mi400@xxxxxxxxxxxx | Subject: RE: [MI400] RE: MI emulator | Nice statements, | | thats why i have my box open on the net for anyone interested | in OS/400 as there are now many students there. ;-) | | | -----Original Message----- | From: Don [mailto:dr2@xxxxxxxxxxxx] | Sent: Saturday, October 11, 2003 1:46 PM | To: MI Programming on the AS400 / iSeries | Subject: RE: [MI400] RE: MI emulator | | I think that there's more there than just a MI lock down. | To wit: | | ... | _______________________________________________ | This is the MI Programming on the AS400 / iSeries (MI400) mailing list | To post a message email: MI400@xxxxxxxxxxxx | To subscribe, unsubscribe, or change list options, | visit: http://lists.midrange.com/mailman/listinfo/mi400 | or email: MI400-request@xxxxxxxxxxxx | Before posting, please take a moment to review the archives | at http://archive.midrange.com/mi400. | |
