FTP to/from AS/400 using Internet Explorer

I want to get some files off the IFS using ftp via Internet Explorer.  I can
connect to the box with:

        ftp://myuser:mypassword@myas400ipaddress/

but I end up at QTCP and can't seem to get anywhere from here.  No files or
folders are shown.

It complains about Name Format 1 (which is actually what I'm looking for)
but I can't get anywhere.  I can't get to QIBM, I can't get to Home, etc.

I can do all this from a DOS box by connecting with FTP and then doing

        QUOTE SITE NAM 1
        CD /HOME/MYDIR

Any ideas?
