You mean like a few years back when Notes was advertised hot and heavy and I told my teenage daughter that I worked on Notes and she was just enthralled? Rob Berendt -- "They that can give up essential liberty to obtain a little temporary safety deserve neither liberty nor safety." I think that money would be well spent on iSeries TV marketing. To get the word out to the general public about the iSeries would enable Directors, managers & CIO's to recommend the iSeries without embarrassment. At our school district 3 years ago, we took to the Board our request to purchase our iSeries (before I got here they were leasing space on another AS400). The response from a couple of board members was 'Isn't the AS400 an outdated machine'. I wasn't there to defend it, but the answer given was "we need it to run our Student System & JD Edwards". If the board members had been seeing the new iSeries ads on TV that we have been coming up with, the board member would have instead said, "Oh yeah, the iSeries, I've been hearing a lot about it....."
