Good News Everybody!

The new search engine is LIVE!

Please report any problems to david (at) midrange.com.

The knowledge base article, "Retrieving Spool Files Generated by the Database Server Job", at <http://www-1.ibm.com/support/docview.wss?uid=nas1ae40ce0ecaadc1c6862569ff0056a4f6&rs=110>, seems to explain your situation and has a possible workaround.

There's also "Understanding printing elements of the iSeries server", at <http://publib.boulder.ibm.com/iseries/v5r2/ic2924/books/c415713506.htm>. It has a lot on handling QPRTJOB and its output.

I used the improved search site and searched on 'qprtjob'.

I have an application that has a browser front end talking to RPGLE stored

QPRTJOB rather than the QZDASOINIT job that is running the program. I have
tried *JOB and *ACTGRP for the OVRSCOPE parm on the OVRPRTF, but neither
worked. Any ideas?
