STRDBG vs. STRISDB
I've been using STRDBG exclusively for awhile now, especially since most
of my development has been RPG-IV.
Some of my colleagues, working mostly with OPM code, are ardent fans of
STRISDB. One feature they use extensively is the Watch Variable, which
keeps selected variables listed at the top of their debug screen. STRDBG
has a Watch feature, but, after just now having checked it out, I don't
understand how it works; it seems to display a message every time the
information at the address of the variable changes (?!?!?), but I see
nothing that tells me what the current value of the variable is.
So, basically, is STRISDB's Watch Variable feature, as I've described it
above, available in STRDBG?
TIA, GA
