Try Brad Stone's GETURI utility. I think it's about 250 USD. You can find it at: http://www.bvstools.com/geturi.html If you don't want to pay for a utility, there are some source examples either at Search400.com or iSeriesNetwork.com that will allow you to retrieve web pages in an RPGLE program. If you can't find them, e-mail me directly and I will send you some of my old source that does it. I don't remember if I have any that handles SSL, but at least this will get you started. Greetings All, One of our core businesses is the ability of our customers to place orders on the AS400 via internet. I'm in the middle of creating a program that allows our AS400-operator to check if everything is up and running and if necessary point out where there are possible problems. In a nutshell, the following is involved in the process : 1) An AS400-subsystem where specific jobs have to be active 2) Integrated Netfinity-card with mandatory Services and programs running 3) An external Webserver where the customer needs to logon before they get a webpage where they can order/inquire our articles. Checking this external Webserver is the missing link at this moment. In order to check the whole process I need to : 1)Check if the start-page can be reached (http). 2)Check if the logon-page can be reached (https) 3)Enter a user and password (https) 4)Check if I get the order/inquiry page returned (https) 5)Logout It's not the purpose of displaying these webpages in the program, just to investigate the returned content. Is this possible from within a (RPG-)program ? BTW, we're still using V4R5. Any suggestions are more than welcome.
