I went into control panel, user accounts and re-set my password for user - myname on domain - mypcname , and set it to my as/400 password which is uppercase. I went into client access services and started the client access remote command. It is selected to start as the local system account, and it shows started. I did go back and re-set my password to lowercase also and I get the same message. My user on the user accounts is set up as an administrator. -----Original Message----- From: James Lowary [mailto:Jllowary@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx] Sent: Friday, August 22, 2003 10:35 AM To: midrange-l@xxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: Re: Launching a windows app from the as/400 Try looking up CWBRXD in Client aBcess (iSeries Access) Express help text. I tried changing the command to run a word app on that pc. I do not get an error but my job just hangs. This article makes it sound like you can start up for example a word document from an as/400 session and actually do changes/ creations on it. Has anyone done this? Am I missing something?
