Some are stacking supermarket shelves etc. That's why I, like > Jamie, am now selling software! Clare, I empathize. I know of a lot of good, conscientious folks here in the States - folks with careers that literally span decades - now looking for work, or changing fields. There are a lot of really good software architects selling real estate these days. What the corporations don't realize is that this is going to, in the long run, weaken the talent pool. Flood in a ton of people who know nothing, replace the people with actual experience, and who is going to guide the cheap labor? Companies are already, unbeknownst to them, relying heavily on lists like this to run their business! And when the folks who USED to answer questions here stop doing so, what happens then? One day someone is going to ask "how do I find the main memory capacity" and there will be nobody to answer... Joe
