Glad that he found it. Folks, There may be a couple of different keys. One may be a front cover panel key. It is a traditional looking key. And it is used to open the front cover. Another key is weird shaped. The end that plugs into the iseries looks something like <====) And between the < and the ) are a series of pins, much like the DB9, at least in concept. I haven't ripped one apart but it is thick enough to hold a chip inside of it. Therefore, calling in your favorite locksmith or lockpicker may only result in the scratching of their head. This was an option on the 9404 and not all of them came with it. While you physically still had access to all buttons you could not select Manual, or a few other options without the key inserted.
