Let me guess. The CFO is a newly minted MBA type in his 30's. Tell the CFO 
that Microsoft runs a bunch of its business on AS/400's. 

Have you looked into putting a GUI front end on your rock solid, never 
needs a reboot software? Check out newlook  at www.looksoftware.com. Joe 
Pluta also has software that will do all kinds of stuff for you. 

By the way, you should be looking at replacing Exchange with Domino. The 
users can keep their Lookout clients if you don't want to go straight to 
Notes.
