Instead of having hardcodes , you could generate the FTP scripts from an RPG program dynamically, as required , in a (single) member in a source physical file (in qtemp for example) , and then process the commands from there. The RPG program should of course be able to generate the file names to be transferred. Each member in the PF contains FTP script for different files. Files need to be transfered from a non-AS/400 server to the IFS using a auto batch CL. Is there any other way so that we can avoid hardcoding the file name in FTP script and use a single FTP script for all different files? Any suggestions? Thanks in advance.
