I can't speak to what 'ready' might mean, but I've been using tn5250
exclusively for more than a year now.  It's an open source project whose
mailing list is hosted right here, by David on http://www.midrange.com.  It
compiles under Windows and Linux.  (Windows compilation via the Cygwin
emulator).
