RE: Spool files stuck in PRT status.

I vaguely remember something about this  being mentioned on the list a
while back, but couldn't locate it in the archives.

I have seen this.  If I remember correctly IBM came out with a program
that 
will reset the status.  Seems like it was a problem with lpr/lpd TCP/IP 
printing.
