Thinking about 'complexity of work' from a larger perspective, it is very
difficult to have a zero downtime iSeries.  Ask the HA vendors about that.
Backups and PTFs all too often require a dedicated machine, no matter how
short a time.  The fact is that you can't IPL for a PTF while running your
application software.  A complex system isn't a single application: it's the
whole bowl of noodles.

That's why IBM sells the zSeries for zero downtime.
