Michael, The autostart job is designed to initiate when the subsystem starts. If you're trying to put it in production on a critical subsystem, you may have trouble bringing that subsystem down and then back up. If it's possible, you could do your design and testing on a temporary subsystem, then create your entry in production when your satisfied. The final test will only occur when that subsystem comes up for the first time.
