Here's a summary of what I would do.

1) Use the DSPOBJD command to write records to an outfile for *ALL
objects in your library.  If you wish to account for the library object
itself, you might have to add it manually, it exists in QSYS.

2) Use the CPYTOIMPF command to write the outfile from step one to the
IFS as a delimited file.

3) Map a drive from your PC to the IFS and load the delimited file into
Excel.

This is a little oversimplified but should get you started.  There are
other ways to go about it such as going directly from Excel to the
outfile using ODBC.  Somewhere along the way you will want to omit the
fields you don't require for your work.
