I years ago, while trying to load NT on a Toshiba notebook (before this was
officially sanctioned by folks, but with the help of Toshiba Tech Support)
we had the thing crash, and OS/2 Copyright stuff was showing up all over the
place :-) My understanding was, as stated, the "kernel" was/is OS/2.
