You should be able to use WRKDIRE and then Choose F19 (Change SMTP Name) or something like that. Then you can reformat the sending address so instead of username@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx you can change it to username@xxxxxxxxxx HTH -----Original Message----- From: Mark McCarty [mailto:Mark_McCarty@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx] Sent: Friday, June 13, 2003 8:44 AM To: MIDRANGE-L@xxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: email question We have a client that was receiving a daily status report by email generated from our AS/400, a couple of weeks ago the emails stopped being delivered to them. In talking to them it was discovered that an upgrade of their email software was performed around the time the emails stopped being delivered. The issue is the AS/400 system name attached to the full dns. Is there a way to drop the system name when sending the email. We are sending these reports through SNDDST and the only server rejecting the email is this one client. Any ideas are greatly appreciated.
