It has a nice easy to use feature that you can have a view where you can type in a filed name and see the values for that filed and then you can type another filed next to it and it will display both. and so on and so on. Its easy search function looking for a value either by field name or position from and to in the record. Another nice feather was how it displayed the data when looking at a single record you could have it cram as much of the record that would fit on the screen. what features are you missing from like a wrkdbf or dbu? jim ----- Original Message ----- From: <Bruce.Odum@xxxxxxxxxxxxxx> To: "Midrange Systems Technical Discussion" <midrange-l@xxxxxxxxxxxx> Sent: Thursday, June 12, 2003 2:37 PM Subject: File Utility > > We use internally a very old file utility that people have grown to love > over the years but with the changes in files sizes and operating systems it > no longer functions 100%.
