I can tell you what it did when PeopleSoft bought MACPAC. MACPAC died. PeopleSoft kept promising a migration path but never delivered. We immediately switched to CA financials but kept the manufacturing software. After I left, they moved to JBA. I don't know how big MACPAC was but shortly after the sale there were only 200 or so companies still on it. Two years later, less than 90. I only heard of 2 or so companies that switched to PeopleSoft and stayed with them.
