Speaking about those company memo's we got a packet of pages regarding privacy and who can look at your medical data and why. I liked the general "for business planning purposes". Does that mean so the company can budget how much they can expect to spend on certain amounts of claims, sort of like actuarial tables? Or does it mean I am looking to promote someone for management and I want to make sure that the candidate doesn't have a health situation that grosses me out? After starting the rumor about the latter they reissued the paperwork and it was a bit more specific and respectful of the employees privacy.
