Hi I wanted to delete an user profile so i did WRKOBJOWN first. The user did own a number of objects so i changed the owner of these objects until WRKOBJOWN showed the user did not own any objects. But when i tried doing DLTUSRPRF USRPRF(USERX) OWNOBJOPT(*NODLT) it not not allow me do to because the user owned objects. I did WRKOBJOWN again to check that there really were no objects owned and there weren't. But in the joblog i noticed the following message Message ID . . . . . . : CPI2297 Severity . . . . . . . : 00 Message type . . . . . : Information Date sent . . . . . . : 22/05/03 Time sent . . . . . . : 10:43:13 Message . . . . : User profile USERX owns directory objects that do not have links. Cause . . . . . : The Work with Objects by Owner (WRKOBJOWN) command was used to display the objects owned by user profile USERX. User profile DENNISP owns directory objects that do not have links to them. I was able to delete the user profile by using OWNOBJOPT(*CHGOWN) but i'm curious as to what 'directory objects that do not have links to them' are and how can i see them. Phil
