SQL problem asking for a Data Propogator PTF (V5R2)

A client's programmer is getting this message when working on a project
utilizing SQL. I'm not involved with this project, but the administrator is
being told that the programmer that IBM is telling him to get a verion 8 of
Data Propogator PTF. He's getting this message (including the goofy
characters):

* Â SQL0153 - Column list required in CREATE VIEW Â  Â  Â  Â  Â  Â  Â  Â  Â
        Â
     - If you have registered views over two or more base tables, then
the QZS
       program may end with the error SQL0153 'Column List Required for
CREATE

Anybody run into this?
