Clearing the bank can take a while, too. It also could take a few days to go through the Vendor's Accounts Receivable system. Does the Vendor use an iSeries for their own accounting? Could you find the postmark on the envelope it was mailed in? My experience is that the Post office does mess up, but no where as near as they get blamed for. I just received an envelope that travelled from the Northeast US to the South west US, two thirds of the country, from one small town to another small town. It was mailed on the 16th and I got it on the 19th. The US Postal Service does a pretty darn good job. --------------------------------------------------------- Booth Martin http://www.MartinVT.com Booth@xxxxxxxxxxxx --------------------------------------------------------- -------Original Message------- From: Midrange Systems Technical Discussion Date: Tuesday, May 20, 2003 1:52:45 PM To: Midrange Systems Technical Discussion Subject: Re: How to tork off a customer Booth Martin wrote: > Check the facts.
