For a variety of reason, unfortunately I will not be attending Common this fall. However, last week I happened to be in the area and even passed by the convention site. For those that are wondering. The next closest building, let alone a hotel, I saw was over a mile away. It sits out in the middle of an area that is otherwise undeveloped. So in figuring the savings of staying off site, don't forget to include daily transportation costs.
