I have a print file that prints fine to an HP laser printer but I get control characters at the top when I print to a Lexmark impact printer. I've tried changing the device type to *SCS, *AFPDS, *ASCIILINE, *LINE but nothing gets rid of the control characters. The printer is attached through an HP JetDirect box. Any clues as to where to look? Thanks, Mark Taylor IT Consultant email: MarkWTaylor@xxxxxxxxx
