Rob, We have that too, The generated code looks very similar to SQL. Using is fairly simple, set-up was not a big deal either. For the basics, you could bang on it and learn as you go, for the more complicated stuff, it is much nicer to have a "teacher" for example how to convert an alpha field to numeric so you can "join" from one file to another where the fields are not the same type (it will let you, but it gets "weird" until you get used to the concept) IF you have support, use it. Their web site explains many ins and outs of the product. Find out if they received training when it was purchased, there are normally some work books then sitting around collecting dust which will get you going just that much faster. All in all, if you know query/400 and/or SQL syntax - should be a breeze for you to pick up. Is this difficult to learn? Are the links to the AS/400 easy to setup? Thanks, Rob --------------------------------- Do you Yahoo!? The New Yahoo! Search - Faster. Easier.
