Andy, Thanks for your help. It's only the one application that is not working. I can PING okay. That is why I suspect a firewall rule somewhere. It's just one address and one port. The second interface works fine, if I deactivate the first one. I have another similar AS/400 and both interfaces work okay. Another thought that occurs to me, although I would not know how to check it out, is that outbound load-balancing might not kick in until some performance threshold is reached, and that during your testing, you haven't reached that threshold.
