I don't know if this will work for you or not http://bvstools.com/afptool.html -----Original Message----- From: fkany@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:fkany@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx] Sent: Friday, May 09, 2003 1:25 PM To: Midrange Systems Technical Discussion Subject: RE: email a spool file (devtyp(*AFPDS)) Apparently emailing printer file output with a type of AFPDS is a real pain. I would like to email my spool file to my email address. I don't care what format it's in as long as I can read it when I get it in my email. I don't care if it's attached, inserted, embedded, converted to text and inserted. I just want to be able to view the spool file in anyway shape or form after it's sent to my email address. Has anyone done this before? If so, would you care to share with me how you accomplished this task? I think someone posted a message saying that I could convert it to RTF format by adding more lines of code to my printer file. Anyone know how to do this? Thanks, Frank fkany@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx@midrange.com on 05/09/2003 08:47:57 AM Please respond to Midrange Systems Technical Discussion <midrange-l@xxxxxxxxxxxx> Sent by: midrange-l-bounces@xxxxxxxxxxxx To: Midrange Systems Technical Discussion <midrange-l@xxxxxxxxxxxx> cc: Subject: RE: email a spool file Can anyone see what I'm doing wrong? *I entered the command below on a command line.
