Hi Chris, You actually have Triple DES APIs in your Alliance FTP Manager library that you can use for encrypting fields in a database file. The APIs are being used for some fairly high volume database requirements. Triple DES is accepted by Visa, HIPPA, and others for securing data. Of course, encrypting fields that are keys represents a bit of a problem. The key value is predicable after encrypting, but your query tools won't be of much use. It's better to arrive at a mechanism for keys that does not involve sensitive data.
