Your iSeries username and password must match up exactly with a username
and password in the NT Domain. Then, as long as that NT username has
access to share you can access it.

Greetings Group,
I have some shares in qntc, but am unable to see anything beyond the
machine
name. This is because I have insufficient authority. OK, how do I get
the
authority? I have tried setting up a share on my pc and giving my iSeries
UserId authority to it, but windows always prefixes the iSeries user I add
with the '\\LocalMachineName\' and it still doesn't work. Can somebody
point me to the proper book or give me a hint? This worked on my 620 w/o
any special intervention on my part (that I recall) but won't work on my
810...
