Paul, COMMON is a fantastic conference. I've been to the IBM tech conference and I thought COMMON was better. Granted, even though I knew money was too tight for us I did fill out a grid just to check and didn't find all that much more that COMMON offered that the tech conference didn't, at least that I was interested in. So either one or the other conferences are changing, or my tastes are. Now, I've not been to any of the plethora of other conferences. Frankly there's so many that it's hard to find a free week. I know that the last time I went to a tech conf that IBM scheduled it during the same week as one of these others and boy was Al Barsa honked. I wonder why these other conferences were really started. To fill a niche that they felt that neither COMMON, nor the tech conference were addressing, to grab some bucks, or to address some personal grudge.
