RE: Switch or hub

No I don't remember - it was about 5 years ago & the mind is foggy on the
subject.  It seems like it flat out would not work when plugged into a
switch.  Tomorrow is month-end so I will play around & see what I can
determine after everybody is kicked out & my backup is going.

That's strange.  We've been running ours on a switch (Netgear FS524) for a
long time with absolutely perfect results.

I wonder what caused it to not work with a switch?  It seems to me that
this would be transparent to the AS/400... it wouldn't even know the
difference.   The problem would have to be in the switch itself?  Do you
recall what the cause was?
