H - Third party software conferences like ROBOT
usually have more "bang for the buck" (if you
have purchased these products).

Last year our systems programmer attended one of
the conferences (Nashville?). He didn't get a *lot*
out of it since it seemed that many of the courses
were not geared toward his area of expertise.

This year the company wanted me to attend and after
reviewing the course outlines it appeared to me that
Common was being geared more toward companies webifying
their applications and/or coverting everything they
have to Java/XML/<insert latest buzzword here> ;-)

(F) above could be changed to "The sessions aren't
relevant to what our company is doing today"

This, coupled with the fact that airline travel
hassles are a huge PITA, I'm choosing not to attend.
