Could you please take the time to answer the brief questionnaire below? True, False or Not-Applicable (T/F/N): I have attended at least one COMMON conference since January of 2002. False I thought that the COMMON conference was a good value for the money spent. n/a I thought that the COMMON conference was a good value for the time spent. n/a I would attend another COMMON conference. If I could. Multiple Choice: What is the biggest impediment to you attending COMMON conferences? (Feel free to rank them if you like). A) Monetary Cost B) Time Cost Just some opinions and observations from past experiences: The last, and only, Common I've attended was in Baltimore a few years ago. And I only went to two days since it was local. I got a wealth of information in the two days I was there. I think that a less frilly more hospitable (i.e. cheaper) location would attract more people who would like to actually take in what the conference has to offer and less that are using the conference for a employer sponsored vacation. If my management sees that the conference is in Las Vegas or Orlando, they're gonna think that I'm going for gambling and golf. I'm sorry I missed the Indianapolis common. I could have probably got approval for that one but alas, I was on vacation. Thanks, Mark Mark D. Walter Senior Programmer/Analyst CCX, Inc. mwalter@xxxxxxxxxx http://www.ccxinc.com
