But is overkill in this situation.  They need neither graphics nor Host Print
Transform.  The printer itself is IPDS, so the data stream traffic is already
low and no host cycles are required for data stream translation.

I guess my real question comes down to why IPDS printers can be used over twinax
without requiring PSF, yet using the same functions on a *LAN attached IPDS
printer wants a PSF license but doesn't even need the PSF software installed!
