Larry, Because I gave conflicting advice earlier in this thread, I may be feeling a little defensive so please bear with me. When I look through the V4R4 System Builder, the #6817 is listed as an available feature for the 170, the #6717 is not. The #6717 is listed as an available feature for those machines and expansion chassis' with an SPD bus. I'm confused, can you reconcile your advice with IBM's documentation? What am I missing?
