The difference, though, David is that SWT is included with Eclipse, and SWT is quite a bit nicer than Swing as far as presentation is concerned (in my opinion, anyway). The controls are closer to native, and the GUI is faster. And, no, you can't run that on the AS/400 because there's no native GUI. You might be able to use something like RAWT, but that's a kludge.
