  I'm not looking for the pros and cons.  Our position is that we don't have
a problem, the
vendor does.  They should deal with it.  However, 90% of our stuff is
already converted.
Wouldn't take much to convert the rest and would probably take less time
than to keep
haggling with the vendor to fix what is obviously wrong with their stuff.
Our time on this
project is short.  I just wanted to know if there would be a problem with
recompiling the
files and not recompiling all of the programs over the files.
