My experience was that I got a Bxxx 4704 message on the LCD display which means that the tape is now found. It never searched the CD at all. I tried a non-LIC tape and it came back with a message that it was the wrong tape and, again, never searched the CD no matter when I put it in. The CD was in before I did the IPL from the D side. Are you saying that even after I get the 4704 message that it will search the CD if I had been patient?
